蒔絵杯 ｢晩秋｣

秋の終わり、落ち葉が積み重なったイメージを「置き平目」という蒔絵の技法で表現。平目粉という細かな金粉を一つ一つ置いて、もう一度漆を塗って乾いてから研ぎ出しています。金粉の上に漆がどのくらい被っているか、その厚みで金色の見え方が変わり、粒の大きさや置き方を調整して、金粉だけで色のグラデーションを出しています。外側は、温かみを感じる拭き漆仕上げ。
