庭春 ぐいのみ

ツバメ・タンポポ・スミレ・ペンペン草・カラスのエンドウ・キュウリ草など、春の庭の図案。側面のガラスをカットせずにつるんと磨き込んだタイプのぐい呑みで、図案の植物も先端のくるくるとした巻きなど細部まで生き生きとのびやかな表情になっています。

ガラスとガラスの間に金を挟むゴールドサンドイッチ技法をヒントに、由良さんが考案したオリジナル技法で制作。吹いたガラスに金箔（金澄）を熱で圧着し、絵を残すように彫り込み、自由な図案を実現しています。図案の上からガラスを被せるので、金が剥がれたり色が変わることもありません。お酒を注ぐと金の反射した表情などを楽しめます。
