鶏龍山は李朝時代のものに人気があってよく知られているもの。鉄分が多めの黒っぽい土に、白い化粧土で粉引や刷毛目を施した、そのコントラストが魅力です。矢野さんの刷毛目は、硬めの粗い筆をグッと動かして勢いを描いたもの。「30代の初めの頃、韓国に半年間滞在していた時に、刷毛目の仕事も学びました」と矢野さん。
