高台のない、底面に少し丸みのある盃で、置いた時にほんの少しゆらゆらと揺れます。
外側から月夜の景色を漆絵、蒔絵、螺鈿で描いていています。
金蒔絵の満月に照らされて輝く雲は、アワビの貝を螺鈿したもの。
透明ななお酒だけでなく、かすみ酒やハチミツのお酒ミードなどを注いでも、金色のお月さまや雲がぼんやりと霞んで朧月夜の景色に。
風情があって、使い方を考えるのも楽しい器です。
