小ぶりな脚付き酒盃で、外側から月夜の景色を漆絵、蒔絵、螺鈿で描いています。
透明なお酒だけでなく、かすみ酒やハチミツのお酒ミードなどを注いでも、金色のお月さまや雲がぼんやりと霞んで朧月夜の景色に。
風情があって、使い方を考えるのも楽しい器です。
月夜らしく、脚元には貝を螺鈿した雲も輝いています。
厚みのある雲は白蝶貝、小さい貝の粒と薄い雲はアワビの貝を使用。
