強還元焼成によって焼締められる灰黒色の珠洲焼。全体的にマットな質感ですが、口縁の肌合いに灰の表情があります。小さめの高台まわりには艶っぽい黒みもあって、手に取って器形を眺めたくなります。見込みの底部に小さな石があり、その周辺にうっすらと釉が溜まって深緑色に。
